The Lacey Democratic Club extends our heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of former Lacey Township Mayor Debra Madensky.
Debra was a longtime community leader, a dedicated public servant, and a wonderful person who gave so much to Lacey Township and its residents.
We invite our members and the community to join us in honoring her memory and sharing their condolences with her family.
May Debra rest in peace, and may her family find comfort in knowing that the community she cared for and served for so many years is here to support them.

Adopt a Highway clean up will be held October 24, 2026 starting at 11:00am at Wells Fargo Bank 338 N. Main St., Lanoka Harbor. This is not a rain-or-shine event. If rain is in the forecast, we’ll reschedule.
Deadline to apply for a Mail-In Ballot by Mail for General Election is October 27.
Early Voting Period is October 24 – November 1, at the Lacey Community Center, 15 East Lacey Road, Room C. Times are Monday to Saturday from 10:00am – 8:00pm and Sunday from 10:00am – 6:00pm. There is no early voting on Monday, November 2nd. Vote Early!
General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2026. Polls will be open from 6:00 am until 8:00 pm. To find your polling location, visit the Ocean County Elections website or check the sample ballot mailed to you.
Our next club meeting will be Wednesday, November 11, 2026 at 7:00pm at the Lacey Community Center, 15 East Lacey Road, Room C.

Past Events
On March 28th there were over 3,300 No Kings events held in all 50 states and internationally. Globally there were 8 to 9 million participants, protesting against the actions and policies of the second Trump term. At the Lacey Twp No Kings event, we had over 600+ participants. Thank you Lacey Democratic Club for another great rally!
NO KINGS! On October 18, 2025, 7 million of us attended to show the world: America has no kings, and the power belongs to the people.

This has been an unforgettable experience! We had around 650 to 750 people join. Our attendees were initiative-taking, well behaved (even you folks that stayed on the curb), and maintained a positive message throughout. The twenty or so Trumpists that came out were, as expected, crude, vulgar and bitter, but we mostly refused to rise to the bait.
The Lacey Police were attentive and helpful, and highly professional. Their sole concern was public safety, and they made sure the event was incident free.
Lacey Township is around 70 percent Republican, so this turnout was utterly amazing.
Also, anyone who might be interested is welcome to join the Lacey Democratic Club. We meet on the second Wednesday of each month, 7:30 pm, at the Charles Smith Community Hall, 15 E Lacey Rd, Forked River. United, we are stronger! We can also be reached at laceydemocrats@gmail.com.
Finally, I wanted to mention that several people thanked me for the event, but the real credit goes to all attendees. You people allowed your passion for this country to overcome any apprehension caused by threats of violence. In short, your bravery triumphed over the thuggery of the other side. You were upbeat and enthusiastic, and you are all true patriots.
