What is the purpose of this organization?

Our organization aims to discuss and promote Democratic political issues at local, state, and federal levels. We engage in fundraising for Democratic candidates, attend community events, and host social gatherings to foster networking and community involvement.

We host a variety of events including debate watch parties, fish fries, trivia nights, and community gatherings. These events are designed to engage members and the community in political discussions and social activities.

How does the club support local candidates?

The club supports local candidates by fundraising, providing resources, and networking opportunities. We aim to empower Democratic candidates to run for local office and serve the community effectively.

What community services does the organization provide?

We serve the community through various initiatives, including volunteering for local events (e.g., Lacey Day and Doggy Derby) and awarding college scholarships to high school seniors. Our goal is to give back and support the next generation of leaders.

Club meetings are held at 7:30pm on the second Wednesday of each month at the Charles A Smith Community Center located at 15 East Lacey Road, Room C. Please note that there are no meetings held in December and January. Meetings will begin at 7:00pm in 2026.
